Cathy and I are in Minneapolis as she attends a Winter Cycling Conference. I came across this lovely steel bridge and couldn’t help thinking of our dead Saskatoon bridge.
The snow was at a minimum for such an event so the organizers arranged for a winter blizzard that dumped about 8 inches overnight. It was especially important to test the resolve and efficiency of the snow removal crews. They rose to the occasion, resulting in most streets and sidewalks I encountered today, on my 8 mile walk, being quite manageable.
