Lucky us. We headed out on a road trip to Winnipeg so Cathy could work on genealogy with her brother John. The first night we had the good fortune to stay with friends in Southern Saskatchewan. Pat and Linda have the most wonderful home, perched on a ravine in the Qu’Appelle Valley near Stockholm, Saskatchewan. Their back yard is a wonderland filled to overflowing with trails, trees, birds, mammals, hills, prairie grasses, and ravines, all anchored with a spring fed creek meandering through the valley bottom.
