Spring is well underway.

Talk about spring hitting the big time today.  It was a glorious day with warm sun and lots of activity along the river.  Looks like the geese have wasted no time in getting those babes hatched.

These wads of wriggling tent caterpillars remind me that not all of nature’s creatures are seen in the same light.

There were three groups of 10-15 Chipping Sparrows along the Meewasin trail. I suspect they are like lots of Saskatchewan residents coming back from a holiday down south.

This White-breasted Nuthatch stays around all year but was posing and apparently was happy to have a picture taken.

Three more subjects caught my eye and triggered the shutter on my camera.
