Saskatoon wins largest snowball fight

SASKATOON ROCKS!!
An effort to beat the Guinness Book of World records was successful. Over 8,200 people embraced the idea that Saskatoon could beat Seattle at Snowball Fights. A countdown with 8200 + voices pumped up the crowd so when the horn blew, thousands of snowballs flew through the air, to delight and amazement of everyone. It was an amazing sight. Cathy, Olive and I registered to be part of this historic event.

Way to go, Saskatoon! You’ve broken the record, and from the looks of things out here on the “Left Coast”, there is NOT a single flake at sea level here…So your record is safe, for now!
However, don’t count Seattle out. They will rise to the challenge anytime soon. And remember the Seahawks “12th Man”? Hey, that is all of us from YVR, tripping down to cheer for the hometown football heroes!

    Best regards,
Cousin Sally, afloat on the Fraser!
