Leaving the UK.
Our suitcases exploded all over our hotel room for one last time. We left Bude yesterday morning, drove to Exeter, deposited our car back at the rental place and caught our train to London. This was a particularly poignant moment as we parted company with Peter who was headed to Hearthrow rather than Gatwick. Our time together has been magical and so special with the common goal of learning more about the family history. Cathy, John and Peter get along so well and have so much fun it made the trip exceptional. We have a leisurely time this morning to head down for breakfast and then walk about 10 min. to Gatwick North Terminal where we catch our 12:35 flight to Calgary and then on to Saskatoon.
Thanks to everyone who followed along on this great exploration of the UK and family history.
