Early morning sun.

Monday mornings generate considerable joy in my life.  Olive (my granddaughter) and I have lovely conversations as we head out to her piano lessons.  Exploring the local ponds and parks for 45 minutes while she is at her lesson results in some surprising opportunities for  photography. Here is a selection of the latest characters I found.  The sun was just coming up so the resulting mix of dark water and soft light made for some lovely contrast.

Hi Trent, Do I ever agree with Shelly. These pictures bring back so many memories of days long past. I love the Blue Jay with the peanut and the round little muskrat with his lunch!
How you get the shots you do is beyond me but we certainly do enjoy seeing them. Nature through your lens is both funny and stunning.
    Love,
    Nola

    Hi Trent,
When are you going to publish these in some book and compete with National Geo for amazing nature photographs?!!
Can’t say enough about how wonderful these are – I feel like I am Uncle Tom’s slough!
    Love you,
    Shelly
