This group of crocus blossoms has been developing over the last week. I have been walking along this section of the Meewasin Trail for 20 years and this is the earliest I have seen the Crocus flowers emerging. The previous date I noticed the swollen bulbs begin to squeeze out from under the thatch layer was April 10. This group of pictures shows the progression.
