Yesterday I received a link to a video made about the farm where I grew up. Some readers may be interested in following a personal journey taken by Cathy and I as we discovered a way to transition land ownership to another generation. The video is about 20 minutes and our segment is near the middle so feel free to skip this whole post as it may be too boring for many readers.
The following pictures will give context to the place I called home as a child.
The farm house build by my Grandfather in 1918 along with other buildings that came later.

The creek where by cousin Michael and I spent many happy hours.

The building my Uncle Tom (referred to in the video) called home.

What an amazing story.. i shared it with a number of people including Alicia and her boyfriend who comes from farming stock!
Oh Trent, You are sending me down memory lane. The warmth of the home farm, Uncle Tom’s Dreadful pork pies, beaver dams, prairie wool and fresh air and dark nights that are rare to experience now. Thanks so much! Love it.
